Meet the Coaches

  • William Banahene

    DIRECTOR OF COACHING

    Coach William comes in as Director of Coaching for his fourth year. A Brighton grad in 2012, William went on to be An All-American at SUNY Canton. He played for Rochester Lancers and currently plays for the Milwaukee Wave in the MASL. Founding the club in 2018, he is serving his last year as the President of Brighton FC and is currently the Director of Goalkeeping for SC Wave in Wisconsin.

  • Jeremy Loncao

    CAMP DIRECTOR

    At Brighton high school, Coach Loncao was an All-County player and sectional finalist his junior and senior year. He attended MCC and in his 2 years there he was first team All-Conference and second team All-American and The Chancellor award winner. After college, he began teaching and coaching high school soccer. He has 16 years high school coaching experience, 1 year as an NPSL assistant coach with Rochester lancers and is the current Naz Women’s JV head coach. He currently plays semi professionally for the Rochester lancers indoor/outdoor league and has been playing with them since 2019.

  • Robert Williamson

    CAMP DIRECTOR

    Coach Robbie played professionally both outdoor and indoor for the Flower City Union and Harrisburg Heat. Before that, he played at the collegiate level for 4 years with Buffalo State. He was a 2x All Conference and 2x All East Region player, as well as the Team Captain. Robbie has 7+ years experience coaching throughout the WNY area.

  • Benjamin Lazcano

    COACH

    An international Student-Athlete from Chile, Benjamin is currently a senior at Roberts Wesleyan University and captain of the men's soccer team. He has experience coaching the past 3 summers in a soccer club for kids in Dallas, Texas.

  • Chase Alexandre

    COACH

    Chase has been playing soccer for about 16 years, most recently at the Division 1 level with Robert Morris University. A graduate of Brighton High School, Coach Chase has won various awards, such as the AGR, All State, and All East Region. He has been coaching with various camps and teams for years.

  • Anna Leone

    Coach Anna returns to LUSC for her fourth summer coaching at the camp. Anna plays for RNYFC and recently graduated from Brighton High School. A campers favorite, she will be going on to play at SUNY- Cortland this fall.

  • Finn Cregan

    Finn is a current WNY Flash ECNL player and is committed to playing Division 1 soccer at University of Akron. She has coached for multiple years throughout the Rochester area.

  • Kiernan Nicholson

    Kiernan has played soccer for 14 years, having played with Brighton Football Club for 4 years and ODP for 3 years. He has been a coach with Level Up the last 2 years and has also filled in as a coach for Brighton Football Club.

  • Izzy Alexandre

    Izzy has been playing soccer since she was 8 years old, joining premier club at the age of 9. She has played at RFC, GPS, Rush, and is ending her club career at RNYFC, playing on the 2006 Girls Academy team. She has played varsity soccer at Brighton for 3 years, having been 2x 1st Team All-County and 4th Team All-State. She will be attending Thomas Jefferson University in the fall, playing Division II soccer.

  • Zachary Flores

    Zachary has been playing soccer since he was 5 years old, playing for RFC for a number of years. He currently plays soccer at Brighton and is a rising senior.

  • Bryanna Roos

    Bryanna has been playing since she was 4 years old, primarily as a goalkeeper. She has played for both Nazareth College and Buffalo State College. She has played as an outside back, center back, outside mid, and striker. She has experience in nearly every position over her last 18 years on the field.

  • Maddy Cameron

    Maddy started her soccer career with the Pittsford Mustangs, playing from 2012 until 2019. She played with the Rochester Lancers from 2019 until 2022, when the club merged with WNY Flash. Currently, she plays on the WNY Flash 2007G Elite 64 team. In her high school career, she has been her team’s captain and an All County player two years in a row.

  • Daniel Wong

    Daniel was a long time attendee of Brighton Soccer Camp and has been playing soccer since elementary school. He has played travel soccer with Stormers Soccer Club and Brighton Futbol Club. He currently plays at Brighton and has spent two years on varsity. He also has served as captain for the Brighton Futbol Club u17 team.

  • Jason Kadio

    Jason is a long time player, having experience playing with Empire United, Brighton FC, and Monroe Community College (NJCAA Division 1). Currently, Jason plays for Smug-Town FC and has been coaching for Brighton Soccer Club the last two years. Over the course of his career, Jason has been honored as Team MVP, AGR Honorable Mention 2002, and First Team All-County 2022.
